Our School Dress Code is as follows...
Clothing must be school-appropriate. Shirts should have at least a capped sleeve. Muscle tanks, halter-tops, spaghetti straps, tank tops, midriff tops, and sports jersey basketball tanks are not allowed without a sleeved shirt underneath.
Shorts and skirts may be worn but must be mid-thigh length or longer. Underwear should never be seen. Teachers will do their best to monitor the dress code and remind students when they notice a violation. Parents will be contacted if a student disregards the dress code after a warning.
Our School "No Treats" Policy
Canyon Creek has a no-treat policy. While there are exceptions to this on special occasions such as Halloween and Valentine's class parties,
the no-treat policy extends to students' birthdays. This policy is in place for several reasons, which are important for all students' well-being.
Students with Allergies
Eliminating hurtful feelings or students being left out.
Obligating students to bring a treat
To promote healthy bodies and minds
Please do not send cupcakes, donuts, or cookies for your child to pass out in the lunchroom to their friends.
Do not bring a pizza or a 30-count nugget for your child to share during lunch, and please do not bring balloons, bouquets, party invitations, banners, etc., to school.
